There’s no better example of an employee developing with GAP Solutions than our President, Diane Pairel. When Diane joined GAP Solutions in 2001 not long after graduating from the University of Virginia, she had no experience with the government market. Born and bred inside the Beltway, Diane had some exposure to the federal government sector through her father, who worked for the Navy in Washington DC, but got up to speed quickly as a recruiter for GAP Solutions’ federal contracts. She moved into project management (achieving her PMP certification), HR, business development, and security over the next several years, providing outstanding support to GAP Solutions’ customers and employees and affording her invaluable experience she uses today running the company. Diane focused on strategic accounts such as Health and Human Services, Department of State, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, among others. In 2008 she became the Director of Client Services where she continued to manage a variety of GAP Solutions’ federal contracts and led the company’s quality management initiatives. In August 2012, Diane was promoted to the role of President, where she continues to advance GAP Solutions’ mission to be a trusted provider of mission support services to the federal government.
Diane has worn several “hats” at GAP Solutions over the past thirteen years, but says she most enjoys building relationships with employees and clients, recognizing employees for their hard work and success, and supporting the critical missions of our federal customers. Diane is excited about the company’s renewed vision to provide the absolute best service to our customers and employees, supported by a firm foundation of exciting and achievable goals. Diane looks forward to helping the business identify new avenues to grow within GAP Solutions’ service areas both organically and through strategic acquisitions, allowing us to expand our client solutions and provide our employees with growth opportunities.
