Reston, VA – GAP Solutions, Inc. is proud to be a sponsor for The Children’s Inn at the National Institutes of Health’s annual fundraising gala, An Evening for Hope, slated for May 2nd, 2015 at the Ritz Carlton in Tyson’s Corner, Virginia. Last year’s event raised almost $800,000 to help support The Inn- a home for families whose children are undergoing treatment at NIH for serious and often life-threatening conditions.
This year’s gala will celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Children’s Inn, which opened its doors in June 1990. All proceeds from An Evening for Hope benefit The Children’s Inn. The Inn provides “a place like home” where families can stay together, support each other, and have a sense of normalcy. While the NIH takes care of the child’s medical needs, The Inn tends to the child’s heart, soul, and spirit through a wide range of therapeutic, recreational, and educational programs.
“The gala is a perfect opportunity to give back, “said Eric Wolking, GAP Solutions CEO. “We are delighted to support The Children’s Inn at NIH and the wonderful haven that it provides for families who are dealing with seriously ill children.”
