GAPSI's IT Services organization focuses on leveraging current, proven technologies to improve our client's business results. We work to improve "the business of government" at our clients, that is, adding efficiencies to processes in Human Resources, Procurement, Training, and other professional, management and administrative areas.
Applied technologies range from modest MS Office-based applications to enterprise-class solutions built on Service Oriented Architectures and Business Process Management (BPM) systems that integrate with department-wide systems. Because we are user-centric, we tend to avoid the "big bang" approach of starting with a massive requirement effort and multi-year development cycle, only to find the requirements have changed by the time a system is ready to use. Instead, we start with modest applications to promote buy-in from the end-user community, and then scale systems up from there. We work in visual
design environments so users without a technical background can more readily participate in the design of each application.
GAPSI brings experience working with both federal civilian and DoD applications. We understand requirements for strong security and data privacy. We plan ahead and build systems that will meet all security and privacy requirements.
