GAP Solutions CTO Selected as WashingtonExec Internet of Things (IOT) Council Member

Reston, VA – September 15, 2015 – GAP Solutions, Inc. announced today that its Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Chris Chroniger, has been selected as a member of the WashingtonExec Internet of Things (IOT) Council.

The Internet of Things (IOT) is the network of physical things embedded within devices, systems, and services to collect and exchange data through the Internet.  IOT is a critical technological evolution that is rapidly evolving. Mr. Chroniger was selected for this position based on his extensive industry leadership experience with numerous councils and working groups to include the American Council on Technology’s Industry Advisory Council’s Network and Telecom Shared Interest Group and the Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) Working Group, among others. Through Mr. Chroniger, GAP Solutions will provide thought leadership and focus on the development of methodologies, operational procedures, and lessons learned preparing for the smooth implementation and management that will allow Federal agencies to leverage IOT to improve mission delivery in a secure and scalable manner.
